Arda, an 8-year-old son of a family from Diyarbakır who was born with bone marrow failure and lost three siblings to the same disease, was supported by Diyarbakır AHBAP, Haluk Levent, and the Yeniyüzyıl University GOP Hospital where he was treated; the little boy underwent two marrow transplants in 4 months. His doctors, who took great care of him during his second transplant amid the coronavirus pandemic, discharged him in good health after 8 long months and sent him back to his hometown.
